PARTNER SHIP DESIGN had the privilege of contributing to the first cruise ship for the Saudi market by working as a designer for the conversion of ex World Dream into the remarkably new Aroya. This unique project allowed us to reimagine and redesign various areas of the vessel, bringing new life and character to its interiors. In close collaboration with Aroya Cruises, we crafted exquisite and harmonious atmospheres that seamlessly blend luxury with cultural authenticity. Drawing inspiration from the rich heritage of Arabian history and culture, we reinterpreted traditional elements to create spaces that not only provide pleasant and welcoming atmosphere but which are also utterly unique. The result is a masterpiece that redefines elegance at sea — a ship adorned with extraordinary and spectacular spaces, each telling its own story while collectively inviting guests to embark on an unforgettable journey.

Partner Ship Design has designed the first cruise ship ever built in China, marking a significant milestone in the country's shipbuilding history. The ship's design reflects the elegance and glamour of the Art Deco era, seamlessly blending classic aesthetics with state-of-the-art technology. With a design language that captures the spirit of this iconic period, the interior features luxurious materials, geometric patterns, and opulent details, creating a truly unique ambiance. This pioneering collaboration highlights Partner Ship Design’s leading role in the global cruise industry.
P&O CRUISES | ARVIA
Both sisters, Iona and Arvia are based on the Helios/Excel-Class with a brand specific arrangement of public areas and a profile design by PARTNER SHIP DESIGN in cooperation with the teams of P&O Cruises and Carnival Corporate Shipbuilding.
PARTNER SHIP DESIGN has been as well been appointed to design the bright and spacious passenger sun deck areas, the breathtaking “Altitude” activity area, the swim-up bar and infinity pool, and the one of its kind multipurpose all-day “SkyDome”.
Along with this the design of several indoor areas came from the drawing boards of PARTNER SHIP DESIGN, for example: the beautifully crafted relaxed dining option “The Beach House,” the stylish and sumptuous “Sindhu”, the multi venue dining piazza “The Quays” and the latest addition to P&O´s fine dining offer: “Green & Co Feat. Mizuhana”. Not forgetting to mention the “Ripples” an ice cream bar where happiness has been transformed into design and “Scenes” the cool, chilled-out vibe area where teens enjoy an adult-free area.
NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC | LINDBLAD EXPEDITIONS
ENDURANCE
A state-of-the-art polar expedition cruise ship designed and developed from scratch by PARTNER SHIP DESIGN together with the team of Lindblad Expeditions and Ulstein Vaerft. The unique arrangement of areas is custom designed for the special needs of expedition cruises. The spectacular environment the ship will sail- is naturally connected with the inside areas. All interiors were exclusively designed by PARTNER SHIP DESIGN and reflect Lindblad Expedition´s brand vision of Nordic luxury and simple beauty by using natural materials with a fresh contemporary edge.
AIDA COSMA | AIDA CRUISES
The AIDAcosma will meet the AIDA fleet late 2021 and will be a sister to AIDAnova the first Helios-Class ship. PARTNER SHIP DESIGN was appointed to develop the Helios-Class platform for Costa Group. PARTNER SHIP DESIGN was the responsible design firm for all crew and passenger areas as well as open deck spaces and the profile design of this mega ship.
In addition AIDAcosma is the 14th newbuild of AIDA Cruises for which PARTNER SHIP DESIGN developed signature interiors of modern, fresh, and timeless beauty.
COSTA CROCIERE | COSTA SMERALDA
The Costa Smeralda is the second Helios-Class ship and the first one built at Meyer Turku. PARTNER SHIP DESIGN developed a unique arrangement of passenger areas for Costa Crociere and likewise the ships silhouette was changed to perfectly fit the Costa fleet.
The name of and inspiration for the interiors were taken from the culture, the architecture and the lifestyle of Italy. PARTNER SHIP DESIGN was chosen to design a variety of indoor spaces and all open decks areas across the ship.
The efforts for the design of the Costa Smeralda were crowned by being named “Ship of the Year 2020” by “Cruise& Ferry”.
SEA CLOUD | SPIRIT
Spirit
PARTNER SHIP DESIGN has been working with SEA CLOUD CRUISES since 1991. It started with designs and supervision of the outfitting for the renovation of the legendary "Sea Cloud". Later we have been appointed to develop the GAP, and the classic yet elegant interior design for the new building "Sea Cloud II".
To be commissioned again with the development and construction of another three-masted full-ship, the “Sea Cloud Spirit”, is something very special and a challenge in the 21st century that we have gladly accepted.
